The Door County String Academy offers positive and professional music instruction on violin, viola, cello and string bass.
Our Reason
While learning how to play the violin, viola, cello or string bass, students learn the fundamentals of music theory, composition and music history. The Door County String Academy teaches students to work well together, and instruction is kept positive and professional. More experienced students are invited to be mentors to younger students in the academy.
Our Students
The Door County String Academy offers string instruction to students in grades 3-12, ages 8-18. Students attend Gibraltar, Sevastopol, Sturgeon Bay, Southern Door, Algoma Schools or home school. Students are grouped into levels based on years of study and ability.
